A walkable town full of family owned shops, diverse food, and lively streets. Plenty of free parking with an emphasis on foot traffic. Great place for holiday shopping ideas and a meal.
Single screen theater built in 1941 showing indie, classic & 2nd-run films. Located in the heart of downtown, its a great excuse to see what Plymouth proper has to offer.
One of Courtney's favorites, a downtown speakeasy serving craft cocktails in a classical environment. Unfortunately, they do not refer to you as Mr. Gatsby even if you request it.
Located 25 minutes from the suggested hotel, this museum is one of a kind. Explore iconic artifacts like the Wright plane replica, Thomas Edison’s laboratory, original Ford Model T, and much more. If you've never been, its a great activity for the next day.
Recently renovated and a surging area of Detroit, this is a fascinating and beautiful museum of Michigan's history. There's nothing else quite like it in the area. Admission is free, just make sure its open. Also a good spot to propose if that's on the agenda (please wait until Sunday).
